New Office

Finally I got my own office from Microsoft after 8 months of service. So many walls to decorate but I really love it.  Enough space to put all my favoriate pictures and flowers there !

Valentine's Day

Valentine's day really becomes kids' holiday these days. Days before it, we went to Target twice to buy valentine's cards for our daughter and son, upon their schools' request.  We got a list of the students names from their teachers to help them prpare for their Valentine's cards.  It is pretty much to everyone in their classroom + anyone they have in mind as friends.

Just one day before Valentine's day ( School is off tomorrow ), today they brought back tons of Valentine's suff from their schools, from their school buddies and teachers. Oh, mine ! All the sweet hearts, candies, chocolates and decorations.

Of course we got beautiful Valentine's cards from the children as well, with man-made arts on it.
Those are sweet. I like becoming my kids' valentine !

Life is Fragile

A former colleague passed away last weekened, from a heart attack, at age 56.

Last year, about the same time, a colleague passed away from a bad heart attack. I don't know what I want to express, it is just that life is really short and fragile.

I kissed my kids a lot after I got home today. That makes me feel a lot better.

In terms of quality vs. Price ratio, personally it feels "In and Out" Burger would top all others. Check consumer report, and Yes, it is indeed rated the best fast food restraunt. Its vegatables are fresh and thick, smells really nice. And it is cheaper than Wendy and Carl's Jr.

This is the home of an oil mogul of last century, Huntington. It was donated to a foundation after he passed away. A really good place. I wish I had found it before.

北京的冬天很冷很干，根本没法户外活动，呆了三天就冻裂了嘴唇，所以照片不多。 去了北京当地人常去的九华山考鸭店，鸭子其实比全聚德好吃， 更精致些，配上特制的一种烧饼，口感很好。 不过，拘于当时人多， 没好意思拍照。

Harold the Purple Crayon

My little one is a big fan of the cartoon these days.
He watched about two episodes each day.

Then, he always holds a purple crayon by himself, drawing purple pictures everywhere,
except that they are not becoming real. But how he looks like Harold !
