Love Triangle

The love triangle news is all over the media these two days. A 43 years old female astronaut, drive 900 miles all the way from Houston to Orlando, Florida to confront a 30 years old woman, her romantic rival. She assaulted her by a pepper spray and even was charged attempted murder, as a BB gun and some other killing equipments were found in her car. What makes the story even juicier is that she wore diapers to avoid bathroom stops during the trip ( This is actually common for an astronaut ).

The astronaut's career was on the rise at NASA. She just completed her first space shuttle mission in July of last year. She looks beautiful and professional. It is just amazing how love can cramp a woman's mind and judgement, even at this age. It is said that she had three young kids and is in separation with her husband. Her love object is another astronaut, who was in the same training with her but they were never in the same spaceship project. She was decribed as a loving and caring person by her family and friends.

This woman may never be able to fly again. Actually I have my sympathy for her. she loved that man very much but was posed in a very awkward situation. She described her relationship with the man as " more than a work relationship but less than a romantic relationship". She may have the affection with the guy for years, some pure woman-to-man feelings. But now she is 43 years and not have much time to compete with her young rival.

There is always some raw drive be seen when men compete for woman or women compete for man. Sometimes the gossips make the world more colorful.
